Prepare and teach fifth grade core curriculum including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and history. Responsible for content development, schedule preparation, and daily classroom activities. Also developed and managed partnerships with volunteer and parent groups to create and implement special activities. Focused on creating a learning-friendly environment including the use of new technology such as Apple’s iPad. Led after-school high school discussion group in philosophy.
