2007 – 2010

Responsible for the project management of all outreach ministries tied to the strategy, mission, vision, and values; provided training and strategic direction for a team of six to design, market and implement new and ongoing community programs including Apollos Forum, a teaching program focused on worldview and social questions.  Recruitment and development for Community Impact Ministries providing food, equipment and counseling services to those in need. Managed large outreach budget, with a formal monthly presentation to the board of directors based on analyzing data reports.  Fostered partnerships with pastors and teams from other area churches to ensure maximum dissemination of programs and optimum use of resources. Recruited, trained and led over 60 volunteers, coached teaching team to expand the content of classes and seminars. Responsible for fundraising and community relations; counseled, intervened, and provided conflict resolution for congregation members and program participants; developed required program materials.  Participated in regular outreach team collaboration for staff development to inspire a high consistency of customer service satisfaction, proactive problem solving, and more collaborative communication between departments.  Worked directly with lead pastor to achieve departmental staffing goals. 

 

  • Created innovative education forum for public discussions, lectures, and events that regularly drew up to 500 people.
  • Worked with the outreach team to successfully raise $6M for a new church building project including creating project marketing materials, graphic design content, and oversight.
  • Developed new and effective retention/outreach partnerships that significantly increased church membership and program participation.
